By accessing or using the MedBounty platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. MedBounty reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
MedBounty is a platform that connects verified medical professionals (medical students, residents, fellows, and attendings) with opportunities to identify, document, and correct errors in frontier AI model outputs related to clinical medicine. Users submit structured reasoning traces ("Bounties") that document AI model failures, and receive compensation upon acceptance.
The Platform is open to medical students (MS3+), residents, fellows, and attendings enrolled in or affiliated with accredited U.S. medical programs. All users must:

By submitting a Bounty, you grant MedBounty a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and create derivative works from your submission for the purpose of improving AI model safety and performance. This includes sharing submissions with third-party AI research organizations and frontier model developers.
You retain ownership of your original work, and MedBounty will attribute submissions to verified clinician contributors in aggregate (not individually) unless you provide explicit written consent.
Bounty payouts are determined by the tier of submission and the user's verified training level. Payouts are made only for Bounties that are accepted through the peer review process. MedBounty reserves the right to modify payout amounts with advance notice. Submissions that are rejected or returned for revision are not eligible for compensation unless resubmitted and subsequently accepted.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. MedBounty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:
